To survive, you’ll need to build up an inventory of tools, weapons, armor, furniture and minerals.  After all, players have to survive against monsters and creatures that can injure or kill the player’s character. Players have to collect resources and build structures to survive.

The player must accomplish certain tasks before they can even reach their resources.  Minecraft books are a necessary part of learning new things for this multi-platform ‘sandbox’ adventure game.  Players use the building blocks of the game to create literally anything.

How To Make A Cake In Minecraft

The cake is just one of the many food items that you can consume to strengthen you in the game and to stock up your food meter once you’ve eaten it. You need milk, an egg, sugar, and wheat, How do you get the ingredients?

If you need an egg, will you get it from the chickens you keep or laid by chickens found in the wilderness? You need 3 wheat as flour for the cake. You can farm the wheat or it can be found in dungeon chests.

Place ingredients into the crafting grid, and follow the correct pattern. Place 3 buckets of milk across the top 3 slots. In the second row of blocks, place 1 sugar each in the 2 outside blocks, and one egg in the middle block. The wheat fills up the bottom slots of the grid. Once you have filled the grid correctly, the cake appears in the box to the right.

How To Make A Fence In Minecraft

You need a fence in Minecraft because not only do you need to keep all monsters and creatures out for your own safety and to protect your hard efforts, you need to also build fences to keep your animals in. An advantage of fences too is that players can see through fences but mobs who want to get in, cannot see in.

To make a fence, this fence recipe requires you to craft 6 wooden planks of the same wood. From a woodblock, you should get 4 wood planks. This is achieved by putting it in the middle of the crafting table grid.

The fence will take 4 planks and the other 2 to create sticks, all of the same wood. You can turn 2 planks into 4  sticks. Put one plank in the middle of the crafting grid and one below it. Place planks on either side of the sticks in the following order – planks, stick, plank. Add the fence pieces to your inventory.

How To Make Paper In Minecraft

It’s good to know how to make the paper as it can be used to make other creative items such as maps and fireworks. You’ll need a crafting table and for this, you need 4 wooden planks of any wood. Place the table on the ground and look for 3 pieces of sugar cane. Then open the crafting box and place the 3 canes in a row so as to create paper. Move the paper to your inventory.

How To Make A Bed In Minecraft

Like paper, in Minecraft, a bed is another important item in the game as you need it at night to sleep in and to also avoid mobs attacking you. A night spent in bed is also good as it resets your spawn point.

You’ll need 3 wood planks and some wool. Start by chopping down a tree and collecting wooden blocks. Put some blocks onto a Crafting Table for some wood planks. For the wool, you may be able to get in a treasure chest in the different special structures that can spawn. You will need 12 strings, 4 for each wool block. You can also find sheep and then you will have to craft shears. To create the shears, collect 2 iron bars, possibly by mining or searching in a cave. Use the shears on the sheep to get wool. Once you’ve collected the 3 wool you need, take the wood planks and wool to the crafting table.

A map is a useful tool, a visual aid when you’re adventuring into the Overworld. These maps will allow the player to navigate back to a certain location. Certainly, its a good idea to create a map where your shelter is located as you’ll always need to be able to find your way back home.

The maps only locate surface locations and not underground locations. You’ll need a crafting table. When you open the crafting menu, you have a 3×3 crafting grid. Add 8 papers and compass on the Java Edition. This will work for players of PC/Mac, but for Windows 10, you’ll need  9 papers. For users on PC, you need to place 1 compass in the box in the middle with 8 papers around it, while Windows 10 users will put 9 papers filling all of the boxes.

In Minecraft,  buckets will be necessary to carry liquids. If you don’t have the items needed to make a bucket in your inventory, you will need to find what you need to make the bucket. As always, open the crafting table to reveal the 3 x 3 crafting grid.

The items needed to make a bucket is 3 iron ingots. Place 3 iron ingots in the crafting grid. In the first row, you will need to place an ingot in the first block and the 3rd block of the grid. In the 2nd row, there should be one iron ingot in the middlebox. The third row of boxes should be clear.

In survival mode,  you have to do tasks to get items like wood, coal, and iron and use them to make new items that can help you get even more items. Zombies, spiders, skeletons, and ender men are all out to get you. There are different modes in survival, but don’t set it to a mode that is too high. While survival is good for a challenge it can be hard if you set it to a mode that is too high and makes it too difficult.

The workbench is made up of a 3×3 grid when right-clicked. The crafting recipes are items you will need to create if you want to survive in Minecraft. In fact, some in-game items are only available through crafting.
